Friday 19 March 2021
The finals of this year's APPrentice Competition and the inaugural SilverEship Competition will take place online from 11 am.

APPrentice competition
The APPrentice Competition is run by the Hincks Centre and the School of Business in association with MTU's Enterprise Month. The purpose of this annual competition is to inspire students to create new and interesting APP ideas. They don't have to create the app - just come up with an idea for an app.
Each APP finalist works with a team of Business Administration students to produce a poster to represent their APP idea.
More information about the competition is available here.
Silvereship
The Hincks Centre for Entrepreneurship Excellence were delighted to launch this inaugural ideas competition in January 2021.
Open to all MTU staff and retired staff from CIT and ITT, the challenge is to identify a problem/issue related to older people and provide a business idea which could potentially solve it.
Prizes are donated to the winners' nominated charities.
Full details of the competition are available here.
