Pro-society Extracurricular Activities and Social Entrepreneurial Intention

Dr. Mukesh H.V. is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Commerce, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, India. He is the first ECSB Virtual Visiting Scholar at the Hincks Centre for Entrepreneurship Excellence and the School of Business. Mukesh is an entrepreneurship educator and researcher, teaching entrepreneurship, innovation and strategic management to undergraduate and postgraduate students. His research works to explore interesting research questions in entrepreneurship education, digital entrepreneurship and family business.

Dr Mukesh will talk about –

• The growing need for social entrepreneurship education;
• The current challenges for implementing social entrepreneurship education;
• Infusing social entrepreneurship education through pro-society extracurricular activity;
• Results of our research on the implication of pro-society extracurricular activity;
• A guide for educators to use the pro-society extracurricular activity as a teaching tool.
