Entrepreneurship in Rural Ireland & the Rural Femmes Project

Women in rural Ireland can benefit significantly from facilitated networking and skill development - even, and perhaps especially, online.

As part of the Erasmus+ Rural Femmes Project, the Hincks Centre ran such a pilot programme from October - December 2021, with great results, with women meeting 3 times a week to develop their own projects and skills.

For many of these women, especially those living on islands, travel to a physical location multiple times a week would not have been possible, and the online format allowed regular contact (important for building trust and bonds) with other rural women throughout Ireland.

This webinar will describe the project, lessons learned and our aspirations to continue similar work into the future
