Student Research Day

Student Research Day

09 November, 2018

Chaired by the Head of the Business School, Dr. Breda Kenny, the Student Research Day, held at the Nimbus Seminar Room, was a buzz with faculty, management, research students and postdocs attending the annual event. Seven research projects were presented, including three from the Hincks Centre; the PhD candidates Ciara Lavelle and Sarah Davis and Masters student Miriam Adair.

The seminar highlights the excellent research by our students under the supervision of faculty from CIT and other national and international institutions. Topics included age and gender related entrepreneurship studies, a post-incubation study, agricultural education and digital and experiential marketing projects.

The three Hincks Centre Research Students that presented on the day were

Ciara Lavelle, PhD Candidate, Supervised by Dr Breda Kenny and Dr Pio Fenton -
“Gender, Entrepreneurial Self-Efficacy and Entrepreneurial Career Intentions:
Implications of Female Role Models for Entrepreneurship Education”
