ICSB Scholarship to New York

Students across the Faculty of Business and Humanities are invited to apply for one of two full scholarships to New York in June 2016.

The scholarship is to attend the ICSB Academy which is a dynamic five-day boot camp that will provide 200 participants with a full immersion experience in the making of a lean start-up.

The ICSB Academy provides students with a full immersion experience in the making of a new entrepreneurial venture, while exposing them to the latest developments in entrepreneurship science under the mentorship of a global team of successful entrepreneurship experts (including entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, business experts, and faculty).

This dynamic training programme includes learning modules designed to take participants through the fundamental concepts and tools to help them identify entrepreneurial opportunities and create a new venture. Participants in each cohort are paired with mentors and given time throughout the programme to gain insights and advice on their ideas, learn from mentors’ experiences, and network to expand their professional networks.

The scholarship covers the following:

  • Registration fee to attend the ICSB Academy 2016 Cohort in NJ/NY, USA on June 12-18, 2016.
  • Dormitory accommodation in a private three-person dormitory room on the campus of Stevens Institute of Technology, NJ.
  • Gala dinner ticket for ICSB Conference.
  • Participation in the 61st annual ICSB World Conference.
  • Return flights from Ireland to New York.

To apply for the scholarships, you need to:

  • Be available to travel to New York from June 12-18, 2016.
  • Have a strong and evident interest in entrepreneurship.
  • Provide a report on the experience on return to Ireland.
