New Start final Conference was held in Oviedo on the 4th May 2016, gathering all partners representative and the main regional and local stakeholders in Asturias.

During the Conference the project outputs were presented. Special focus has been deserved to the “Guide of life coaching and mentoring assistance to women victims of gender violence”. This NEW START guide explains the rationale behind the development of a toolkit of training materials. It explains how best to use the guide to tailor training to the needs of female survivors of gender based violence.

The Conference also revealed as a fruitful forum to open a debate on issues such as trafficking victims, immigrant women, disabled women, travelling women and victims of gender based violence from a transnational perspective.
