Dr Helen McGuirk was appointed Head of the Hincks Centre for Entrepreneurship Excellence in January 2018.   Before joining the Hincks Centre, Helen lectured in Economics and Entrepreneurship at CIT.  Her PhD and Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Limerick were funded by the Irish Research Council.  Her research has been published in academic journals and presented throughout Europe. Helen has several years’ industry experience in project management, financial services, and as an entrepreneur.
