Dr Helen McGuirk and Dr Aisling ConwayLenihan presented the EU Project, SilverSMEs to the Older Persons Council (OPC) in the Cork County Council Business Hub.  Dr McGuirk spoke to the group about the role of the Hincks Centre and the many projects it is currently undertaking.  Dr ConwayLenihan presented the Silver SMEs project, of which Hincks is a partner.  Other partners in the EU project descend from Spain, Portugal, France, Belgium, Sweden, Slovenia and Poland.  Dr McGuirk presented a potential example of a Good Practice for the project, Courtmacsherry Community Shop.  The OPC broke up into groups and shared potential examples of Good Practices from their communities.
