The inaugural Interreg Europe Project Officers Sub-Network meeting, hosted by Ireland's Southern Regional Assembly, was held in CIT today. The meeting brought together project officers working on various Interreg Europe projects in the region to share experiences and learn from each other.

Thanks to Derville Brennan and Rita McGarvey from Southern Assembly for chairing and organising the very positive and productive meeting.

Projects from CIT's Hincks Centre and VLinc, Cork City Council, Cork County Council, Cork Chambers and Southern Assembly were discussed at length. Projects included: @silver_smes; @innova_foster; @ecoris3project; @destinationsmes; @interregRatio; @ectn_eu; and @MARIEinterreg.

Hopefully this is the first of many such shared learning events.
