Gala Evening in Da Nang, Vietnam
11 June, 2019
The end of the fantastic four year VIBES StartUp-Runway project was marked by a gala evening of presentations and live music at Da Nang’s Civic Theatre in Vietnam. With over 500 people in attendance, the fifteen groups of student entrepreneurs presented their new business ideas with great style and professionalism.
Professor Ger Kelly, Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering, represented CIT on the five person judging panel. Ian Bennet, 2nd Secretary from the Irish Embassy to Vietnam opened the evening with words of encouragement for the project, the students and the collaboration between University of Da Nang and CIT.
As part of their prize, the three winners will travel to CIT and participate in the Student Inc. project in CIT.
