The Hincks Centre were delighted to host the third partner meeting for the Erasmus+ eWBL project on the 5th and 6th of November.  We welcomed partners from Spain, Bulgaria, Italy and Flanders, Belgium. 

• Output 1 (content and formatting of the training programme) was discussed at length and many tasks completed. 
• Output 2 reviewed the project website, and the learning platform for the programme. 

The hard work on the outputs was rewarded by two excellent examples of work-based-learning activities:

• Lunch in the Training Restaurant where trainee Chefs and Waiting Staff provided a very high quality three course meal, supervised by Lecturer Breda Hickey.

• Thank you to the Head of the Department of Tourism Dr Noel Murray and Mr Michael Hourihan, Head of the Department of Craft Studies for meeting the group, explaining apprenticeships and work-based learning in their departments and giving us a tour of the fantastic training facilities at CIT.
