Asia Matters is Ireland’s Centre of Excellence for Asia Business Knowledge & Partnership.

The Global Asia Matters Summit – ASIA NOW held its annual Business Awards on Friday 22nd November in the Aviva Stadium in Dublin. It brought together leading figures from global governments and business leaders from Asia, Ireland and the EU, for keynote speeches and expert panel discussions.

Team CIT were honoured to receive the Asia Matters Higher Education Partnership of the Year Award 2019 for their work in Vietnam, through the VIBE project. The Award recognises the achievement of the best partnership with an Asian peer institution. It is open to individual projects/partnerships from departments, research institutes and business schools within higher education institutes. The project between University of DaNang, Vietnam and CIT (through the Hincks Centre and Rubicon Centre) focused on entrepreneurship capacity building among the young people in central Vietnam since 2016.

Team CIT also included colleagues from the International Office, Faculty of Business and Humanities and External Affairs Office.
