Dr Aisling ConwayLenihan represented the Hincks Centre in Zielona Gora, Poland for the partner meeting and workshop for the Silver SMEs EU project.

Day one of the meeting, partners exchanged experiences and peer reviewed Good Practices. Our hosts, Regional Development Agency, Zielona Gora organised a study visit to the University of Third Age. The average age of students here is 71 years and this year, they celebrated their oldest student of 99 years. We also visited a senior home with a pre-school department.

The conference took place on the second day with a focus on the business activities linked to the fragile-vulnerable ageing population.

The Hincks Centre looks forward to welcoming partners to a meeting and conference for this project in CIT in early February 2020.
