During a visit to Durban this month, the Hincks Centre’s Helen McGuirk was honoured to accept an invitation to attend a graduation ceremony at a community centre in the region.  As part of the #stophiddenhunger the special event was organised by the social enterprise Umgibe - Farming Organics and Training Institute to presented 100 girls with their certificates. The girls, selected from a number of primary and secondary schools across the region learned to grow vegetables from seeds, sell and regrow. Organised by the inspirational Ms. Nonhlanhla Joye founder of Umgibe.
