The Hincks Centre welcomed Global Training Intern Haizea Vianez to the Team on Monday, December 2. We look forward to having her as part of the Team and hope she enjoys her time with us and in CIT.

Here, she tells us a bit about herself:

My name is Haizea Vianez and I am the new Global Training Intern at the Hincks Centre for Entrepreneurship Excellence.

I recently graduated from the University of the Basque Country’s Faculty of Business and Economics, in Donostia - San Sebastian. Throughout the last four years, I learned all the necessary concepts of accounting, marketing, finance and human resources to work in any company or create my own.

In my third year of studies, I had the opportunity to study abroad in the Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Regensburg, Germany, for one semester (5 months). Following that stay, I began working on my end of degree project about the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its relationship with trade, for which I earned an award in the II Student Congress of the University of the Basque Country.

All of these experiences and knowledge allowed me to become a part of the Global Training Programme, receive a special training and brought me to Cork Institute of Technology’s Hincks Centre. The Global Training Programme is sponsored by “Fomento San Sebastian” and the Basque Government.
