We are delighted to hear the great news that An Taoiseach, Leo Varadkar TD, Minister for Education and Skills Joe McHugh TD and Minister of State for Higher Education Mary Mitchell O’Connor have announced that Cork Institute of Technology (CIT) and Institute of Technology Tralee (ITT) are set to become Munster Technological University (MTU) on 1st January 2021.

Today marks a significant milestone and the result of great teamwork in both Institutes. This is great news for our students, staff, the region and all stakeholders.
