Thailand International College Consortium International Conference
30 November, 2020
Phaninee Naruetharadhol, Assistant Dean for International Relations and Networking at Thailand's Khon Kaen University International College and Hincks Centre PhD candidate, welcomed H.E. Mr. Tony Cotter, Ambassador of Ireland to Thailand, to the Thailand International College Consortium (TICC) International Conference in Multidisciplinary Research Towards a Sustainable Society.
The conference was held over two days, November 26-27, at the Pullman Hotel, Khon Kaen, Thailand. H.E. Mr. Cotter chaired the event and gave a very interesting speech on the relationship between Thailand and Ireland.
The TICC International Conference aimed to provide a unique opportunity for academics, scholars, researchers, industry stakeholders, local and regional bodies, governmental agencies, and students to gather and create a space for interdisciplinary discussion on ideas, practices, implications, and applications regarding sustainability issues locally and globally. The conference also aimed to establish itself as a key event for understanding the threats and risks of globalising societies by exploring future opportunities in order to put the principles of sustainability into action.
Phaninee made a presentation at the event titled “Managing the Impact of Open Innovation Implementation on SMEs’ Inbound and Outbound Innovations”. The presentation, which is related to her PhD thesis, received very positive feedback for her main thesis.
