FBH Presentation Day
10 February, 2021
MTU's Faculty of Business and Humanities Research Day was a great success again this year. Research topics were presented concurrently by two groups of postgraduate students ... virtually of course!
The FBH Research day highlights the excellent research by our students under the supervision of faculty from MTU and other national and international institutions.
Each student presented their research followed by 5 minutes for Q&As. Many of the students were presenting their research for the first time. Both staff and students came out in force to support the students providing great encouragement and very positive feedback.
The Hincks Centre was delighted to have three of our PhD candidates presenting on the day:
- Trudie Murray, supervised by Dr Breda Kenny, Dr Helen McGuirk and Professor Tom Cooney (TUD) - ‘How can early childhood educators foster an entrepreneurial mindset amongst children aged 1-6?’
- Phaninee Nareutharadhol, supervised by Dr Helen McGuirk and Dr Aisling ConwayLenihan - 'The effect of open innovation implementation on small firms’ propensity for inbound and outbound open innovation practices.'
- Neelofar Aleem, supervised by Dr Breda Kenny and Dr Helen McGuirk - 'Identifying, measuring and enhancing the innovation potential of the digital health sector: implementing international consortiums as pilot projects within entrepreneurial environment.'
A most informative and enjoyable morning. Well done to all involved.
