STEM Valorise Project Update
26 January, 2022
The recently published Valorisation Synthesis Training Investigation Report describes the pressing need for valorisation and research-driven entrepreneurship training for first stage Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) researchers.
As one of the first major outputs of the STEM Valorise project, the report describes what valorisation is, analyses the results of the research, defines the term and the other parts that are involved in the process. Moreover, the report explains the activities involved in the valorisation of STEM as well as the methods used in the process, among other things. In particular, to achieve social benefits - the interaction between main stakeholders is key.
The report provides recommendations for the successful trainings in valorisation of research that serves as a starting point for development of the learning framework and content of the modules that will be piloted as part of the STEM Valorise project in 2022.
If you wish to express interest in participating in this pilot, or if you have any queries about the project please email Niall.OLeary@mtu.ie.
