South Africa was the destination for Hincks’ first in-person project meeting post Covid19, and what a fantastic week-long event for the European and South African participants.

Hosted by THENSA, the lead partners on the Erasmus+ funded HERE-SA project, the hybrid meeting was held in the coastal city of Durban, with over 30 participants and approximately 12 online.

The meeting marked the midway point of the three-year project on developing expert reform in South African higher educational institutions. Helen McGuirk from the Hincks Centre, facilitated the session on entrepreneurship excellence in HEIs with Prof Keo Motaung from Durban University of Technology.
