Enactus & Citi hosted the Pathways to Progress Showcase event virtually on the 21st of April. The event showcased all the hard work the students have put into their projects over the past year. A total prize pool of €4,000 of seed funding was available for the projects that placed in 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

Each team presented a four-minute live pitch followed by a two minute Q&A in front of Citi and Enactus Ireland judges. There was a maximum of two people pitching for each project.

The event opened with a note from Enactus and Citi praising the students for their hard work to date and encouragement to keep it up as we move towards the national competition. This was followed by the project presentations and Q&As. There was a break where the judges deliberated to decide 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

Joshua Manaid, Chairperson & Team Leader of Enactus MTU and Anderson De Paula, Chief Financial Officer for project FLY Enactus MTU took part and presented project FLY to the judging panel.

Congratulations to the three winners of the showcase:

• 1st place €2,000 - Ceangal, UCC;
• 2nd place €1,500 - SparkED, UL and
• 3rd place €500 - ReFrame, UCC.

A huge well done to all teams who took part in the Pathways to Progress Programme for 21/22. We look forward to seeing the sustainable positive impacts all these projects can make.
