The Hincks Centre was invited to an event at the Rubicon Centre hosted by MTU's AnneMarie Barrett of the Innovation and Enterprise Office on the 17th of June 2022. The event welcomed Dr Keith McGreggor of Georgia Tech.

Dr McGreggor leads the GVU (Graphics, Visualization and Usability) Centre's overall outreach to industry, including the development of new partnership programmes as well as new ways to engage with the local, national, and global technology industry. Dr McGreggor is involved in entrepreneurship efforts across campus as director of Georgia Tech's VentureLab, leadership role with the I-Corps, and teaching the Georgia Tech Startup Lab undergrad entrepreneurship class.

Dr McGreggor was invited to hear about entrepreneurship activities taking place throughout all the MTU campuses and invitees heard about the great work and innovations at Georgia Tech too. The Hincks Centre's Rebecca Robinson gave an overview of the Centre, the Team, our activities, and how we impact the UN SDGs through our work.

Georgia Tech is recognised globally as having one of the top programmes for entrepreneurship education. Dr McGreggor and his Team teach researchers, students and entrepreneurs a structured approach to entrepreneurship and commercialisation through the I-Corps programme and we look forward to following the team at Georgia Tech.
