The Hincks Centre are delighted to announce the upcoming launch of the EU Funded Senior Eco-Nect project which will take place online Monday, October 24, 2022, 09:00 - 12:00 (Irish Time)

This online event launches the Senior Eco-Nect project that aims to support the emergence and the development of European ECOsystems dedicated to the silver and ageing ECOnomy as well as ensuring the inclusivity and interconNECTivity between all the key innovation stakeholders. The 2-year project is funded by the European Union.

Join us and learn more about the emerging opportunities in providing support, products and services specifically tailored to the needs of older people. The event will be an opportunity to meet key stakeholders and will raise awareness on how the project aims to develop a joint action plan for growing this emerging economic sector.

With presentations from the project partners, topics will include:

• EU’s Perspective on the Silver Economy;
• HEI’s Experience of Interconnecting the Senior Economy Ecosystem;
• Galicia, A Silver Living Lab Paradise;
• Opportunities in Sports for the Ageing Demographic and 
• Accessible Tourism for All. Building Competitive Advantage and Resilience.
