Dr Niall O’Leary, Research Fellow at the Hincks Centre, presented to visitors from the South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences (XAMK) on Tuesday, January 10th, 2023.

Niall outlined how the Hincks Centre maps its research work to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) and how we focus our research towards generating societal impact. He also provided an overview of the current and upcoming Hincks Centre projects and enjoyed a lively question and answer session regarding how we can generate better evidence to inform how we support entrepreneurs to maximise their success rates.

The role of our respective institutions in supporting regional economic growth in Munster and South-Eastern Finland was discussed highlighting common challenges and opportunities.
