On January 27, 2023, Khon Kaen University - International College (KKUIC) welcomed His Excellency Patrick Bourne, the Ambassador of Ireland in Thailand, to give a special lecture on "Ireland and Thailand International Relations: Past to Present" to the students from Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs, KKUIC lecturers, and support staff at the Academic Center and Fundamentals Learning Building, Khon Kaen University.

Former PhD Scholar at the Hincks Centre and lecturer at KKUIC, Dr Phaninee Naruetharadhol was delighted to speak to Ambassador Bourne about her time at the Hincks Centre and discuss plans to further develop the links between the two Universities.
