GET-AHED Project Kicks Off

GET-AHED Project Kicks Off

02 March, 2023

The Hincks Centre, represented by Rebecca Robinson, was delighted to attend the recent kick-off meeting for a very innovative and topical Erasmus+ project.

Green Education and Transition - A Higher Education Digital Buddy, known as GET-AHED, is a three-year project which aims to provide individuals in HEIs with a self-assessment, training system and energy tool platform to help them adapt to the green transition.

The two-day meeting took place in the spectacular Austrian Ministry of Education, Science and Research building in Austria's cultural city of Vienna. Hosted by project lead WPZ Research GmBH, this was the first of three partner meetings.

The agenda included presentations from the partners on the different work packages, the management of the project and the schedule of tasks and outputs.

Hincks will lead on the third work package HE-Green Champions and Rebecca outlined the content, work plan, deadlines and next steps associated with it.

GET-AHED will see a strong collaboration between MTU’s Hincks Centre for Entrepreneurship Excellence and MTU’s Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) Department. TEL will lead on the fifth work package ‘Green Transition Digital Buddy Platform’.
