Hincks Presents ....

09 January, 2024

Delighted to kick-start the new year with a visit from Endicott College, Beverly, Massachusetts, US.

Organised by MTU’s Andrea O’Driscoll from the International Office, the annual 10-day visit by graduate students includes sessions with various lecturers across MTU, site visits and a tour of the region.

Helen and Rebecca from the Hincks Centre delivered an interactive session on entrepreneurship, intrapreneurship, innovation and sustainability. Great discussions followed Helen’s presentation of the WeRin and Senior Eco-Nect projects and how they relate to the US economy with students highlighting some key take-aways from the presentation.

Rebecca’s LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® session was a great hit! Students were challenged to work independently on how they view innovation in global markets. They also worked in teams where they enthusiastically worked on their enterprise ideas.

Thanks to the groups’ leaders, Dr Anthony D’Onofrio, Director, Graduate Sport Leadership, Endicott College and Mr. Randall Hopkins, Assistant Dean, Graduate Business, Endicott College.

Looking forward to meeting you again next year!

Helen McGuirk
Head, Hincks Centre
