Celebrating Hincks 10th anniversary on the 8th December ended a very productive and impactful year for the Hincks Centre. 

The team welcomed two new members, Fiacre Muller, full-time researcher and Dr Wei Xiong, part-time researcher from Department of Management and Enterprise. We said good-bye to Dr Sarah Davis who took up a full-time lecturing position at the School of Business, and we hosted two Global Trainees from Spain. We celebrated Dr Phaninee Naruetharadhol’s PhD conferring in November and the team travelled to countries such as Estonia, South Africa, Spain, France, Sweden, Norway, and Finland.

Hincks 2023 activities in numbers (approx.)

• Started 4 new projects
• Closed 4 projects
• 150 Students involved in Social Innovation Challenges
• Hosted 4 CPEER gatherings
• Welcomed 30 international visitors (including scholars and project partners)
• 10 various publications (academic, media, reports)
• 2 Enterprise Camps with 62 participants
