Digital Skills Wallet - developing an ecosystem supported by a digital platform for the acquisition and assessment of digital competence.

Digital Skills Wallet is the acronym for the latest Erasmus+ project that the Hincks Centre is collaborating on. The full title of the project is “Acquiring and Assessing Digital Competence using Micro-credentials”.

The project aims to develop an eco-system supported by a digital platform for the acquisition and assessment of digital competence with the use of micro-credentials on the 5 digital competence areas as per the DigiComp framework.

The project is led by EDITC - Education & Information Technology Centre, Cyprus. The Hincks Centre will collaborate across all work packages supporting each of the 8 partners over the 44 months of the project.

The Digital Skills Wallet pre-kickoff meeting took place online on the 13/02/2023 with Helen McGuirk and Rebecca Robinson representing Hincks. The meeting included an introduction of each partner and their expertise. Partners spoke about the project, the interim milestones, bilateral meetings based on areas of experience and the subsequent meetings that are to take place.

The first in-person meeting is scheduled to take place in Cyprus in May 2023.
