Education for All and at Any stage of Life.

The team are delighted to have contributed to MTU’s Access Service Lecture Series at Cork Prison again this year.

The six-week series of lectures and workshops provides an opportunity for prisoners to learn about MTU’s programmes and outreach training and education courses.

There was a full house for this week’s workshop on entrepreneurship. The interactive session had participants working in groups and presenting their business ideas to support their communities.

Thanks to the ETB at Cork Prison and Christine Nolan from the MTU's Access Service for organising the event.

In May, MTU’s President, Professor Maggie Cusack presented the students with their Certificates of Participation in the programme along with many of the volunteer lecturers from MTU. Thanks to the amazing work of the Access Service and Cork Prison for organising the Lecture Series. Roll on next year!
