CresCine: Increasing international competitiveness of the film industry in small European markets.

The Hincks Centre are leading on a task in the Horizon Europe project CresCine. CresCine’s mission is to increase the competitiveness of EU film and testing training effectiveness is a key focus area.

Film Producers are invited to join us at an innovative, FREE, 1-day, online workshop as part of research to test the effectiveness of Film Producer training. The workshops will involve innovative project strategy, pitching, and marketing planning exercises. They are designed to frame and better focus Producers' finite time and effort to increase a film project’s chances of success.

Practical exercise plans and elaborate film projects in six 45-minute blocks throughout the day. In each block, there is a short introduction of 5-10 minutes, 20 minutes where Producers apply the tools to their project, and 10 minutes where they share progress and ask questions. Participants report benefiting significantly from improved clarity and focus regarding their projects.

Running online from 09:00 to 15:00, we are currently offering the workshop on both Wednesday, May 22nd and Friday, May 24th. Further information and registration is available by clicking here.
