The Hincks Centre as part of their research on the senior economy and the opportunities for regional enterprises, were invited to speak to a multiple stakeholder meeting by Cork County Council. The meeting included representatives from across the region including policymakers, business advisors and local authorises. 

The Hincks Centre were instrumental in the South-West Enterprise Plan Action 1.7 on the silver economy. Action 1.7: Explore new niche market opportunities for regional enterprises and new start-up in the Silver Economy.
