Rural Policy, discussion with the OECD and DRCD

In her role as MTU representative on Ireland’s Rural Futures – Higher Education Network, head of the Hincks Centre Dr Helen McGuirk attended a meeting with members of the OECD’s Rural Policy review team and the Government’s Department of Rural and Community Development.

The meeting gave the OECD team the opportunity to engage with the Network to gather their views on the focus of future rural policy, what is performing well and the challenges that might impact the effectiveness of rural development policies.
