We were thrilled to receive the coveted invitation to this year’s end-of-year class presentations - a heartfelt thank you to lecturers Dr. Trudie Murray, Phil Curtin, and Holgar Huber for extending the invitation. Helen McGuirk from the Hincks Centre had the pleasure of joining a panel of colleagues from across MTU to review innovative business ideas pitched by over 160 third- and fourth-year students from diverse degree programmes, including media, business information systems, design, IT management, and business.

Over the past 12 weeks, students collaborated in small groups to develop their business ideas, creating prototypes and strategic plans that culminated in this week’s exciting pitching events.

Congratulations to all the groups recognized with certificates from the Hincks Centre for their outstanding contributions to innovation, social impact, commercial success, and environmental solutions.

A special acknowledgment goes to the dedicated lecturers who make this all possible. Their tireless efforts include organizing site visits, inviting guest speakers, setting financial simulators, and mentoring groups throughout the semester. Kudos to everyone involved in advancing entrepreneurship education at MTU!
