In November 2024 our colleague Dr Ana Cruz Garcia along with co-author Saskia Stoker from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences presented in the gender track of the ISBE conference held in Sheffield, UK. The presentation explored how women entrepreneurs engage with, and are shaped by, role models. In doing so, it explores not only traditional ‘superwoman’ narratives but also the importance of alternative role models that go beyond individualistic and economic outcomes.
