Hincks in Rome

Hincks in Rome

29 January, 2025

Eilis Seoigh, Hincks’ Project Officer, travelled to Rome this week for the fourth in-person meeting with the Digital Skills Wallet (DSW) project. DSW is an Erasmus+ co-funded project aimed at developing an ecosystem supported by a digital platform for the acquisition and assessment of digital competence. Micro-credentials on the 5 digital competence areas will be used as per the DigComp framework

The meeting was hosted by project partner Universita Telematica Internazionale Uninettuno and took place over two days. After registration and welcomes, the Lead Partner, EDITC, gave an overview of where the project is now and what is to come next. We had a very full agenda to get through for the two days and got stuck in straight away. Starting with work package (WP) 4, we discussed the development of the courses and the partners gave demonstrations of their videos. After lunch, we delved into WP3 with a demonstration of the Digital Skills Wallet platform.

The second day was dedicated to WP1 - Project Management, Coordination and Quality Assurance, and to WP6 - Dissemination, Exploitation and Sustainability.

A big ‘Thank you’ to Uninettuno for being such a wonderful host.

Eilis Seoigh
Hincks’ Project Officer
