The Hincks Centre for Entrepreneurship Excellence is thrilled to announce the appointment of three new student delegates: Oisín Mahony, Mascha Blenn, and Judah Arun. Each student brings a unique background and set of skills that will be vital in supporting the Centre’s mission to foster entrepreneurship through research, education and training among the student population in MTU.

Oisín Mahony, a 23-year-old final-year Bachelor of Business student from Cork, joins the team with a wealth of international experience. After spending two years travelling and working in Asia and Australia, followed by a six-month Erasmus programme in the Netherlands, Oisín brings a global perspective to the Hincks Centre. "I’m excited to represent my peers, share ideas, and contribute to a space that champions creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship," he said.

Mascha Blenn, a final-year Visual Communications student from Germany, will bring her creative talents to the role. Passionate about exploring design, photography, and print, Mascha is driven by her ambition to create meaningful work. Her background will be invaluable for content creation and visual storytelling within the Centre's projects. A self-described "big dreamer with a soft spot for to-do lists," she is eager to apply her skills to new challenges.

Judah Arun, a marketing student and seasoned creative, rounds out the trio. With a strong passion for media and social impact, Judah's hands-on experience as Creative Lead and Head of Content at Ace Marketing makes him a powerful addition. He has also represented MTU internationally through the Ingenium program and is known for his adaptability and leadership. "I’m excited to collaborate with mentors, contribute meaningfully to ongoing projects, and support the Centre’s mission through innovation and impact," Judah stated.

As student delegates, Oisín, Mascha, and Judah will have a dedicated workspace in the Hincks Centre office in the new Le Chéile building on the Bishopstown Campus and will be involved in a variety of key activities. Their responsibilities include supporting and representing the Centre for our European projects, which may involve international travel for conferences and events. They will also contribute to the Centre's broader initiatives, such as student community collaborations, research activities, and mentorship.

This role provides an exceptional opportunity for the students to gain valuable, hands-on experience in entrepreneurship, research, and education, where delegates will earn a Gold EDGE Badge for graduate development. By working alongside industry experts, researchers, and academics, they will build a valuable professional network and develop essential employability skills. The Hincks Centre looks forward to the fresh perspectives and dynamic contributions these new delegates will bring to the team and to the University.
