The Best Way to Predict the Future is to Create it
The GreenSTEPS (Sustainability Tools and Engagement Platform for Secondary Schools)
The GreenSTEPS (Sustainability Tools and Engagement Platform for Secondary Schools) project is designed to equip post-primary students and teachers with the tools and knowledge needed to actively contribute to the green transition.
The initiative is a direct response to the National Strategy on Education for Sustainable Development to 2030, which emphasises moving beyond theoretical learning to tangible action in schools and communities.
Building on a proven track record, the project is inspired by the success of the Centre's existing projects like the award-winning MTU Enterprise Camp for secondary students, the GET-AHED project for students, staff and management in higher education and the "Educating the Educator" CPD series for third-level educators.
GreenSTEPS leverages the Hincks Centre's extensive experience in developing and delivering effective educational programmes.
