MTU's 'Step Up To The Mark' Enterprise Camp aims to provide a creative, innovative and inspirational environment for students to build their creative confidence and to explore their potential by:

• Understanding and learning the essence of idea generation, creation and evaluation of new products, services and markets.
• Delivering inclusive and innovative ideas.
• Cultivate and understand projects with positive societal impacts.
• Develop creative confidence and ICT/digital skills.
• Using their own knowledge in a new and entrepreneurial setting.
• Developing an entrepreneurial mindset, presentation skills and leadership skills.
• Developing collaborative and social skills.

MODE OF DELIVERY

• Multi-disciplinary teams facilitating interactive, hands on experiential learning sessions, maker-space design led prototyping, meet the entrepreneur sessions and business mentoring sessions.
• The programme is FREE and is open to all students who are in 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th year, who are enthusiastic, motivated and want to learn more about creativity, entrepreneurship and innovation.
• Entrepreneurial activities and learnings.

Registrations are now open for the ever popular MTU Enterprise Camp 2024. This Free Camp is specifically designed for second level students in 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th year to help them explore their potential for social enterprise, entrepreneurship and innovation. This year, there are two camps, one in MTU’s Bishopstown Campus and one in Clonakilty, serving the West Cork region. Places on both Camps are limited.

The Camps will take place over three days from 10am-2pm on the dates outlined below and will include fun sessions like idea generation, innovative challenges, talks from entrepreneurs, LEGO Serious Play sessions with plenty of prizes to be won too.

• Camp 1: 24th – 26th June 2024 (Clonakilty Agricultural College, West Cork) 
• Camp 2: 1st – 3rd July 2024 (MTU Bishopstown Campus, Cork) 

Time: 10:00 – 14:00   

Cost: Free 

For: All 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th year secondary school students.
