A STEM_Valorise partner meeting took place online on 28th July with the Hincks Centre's Dr Niall O'Leary and Dr Sarah Davis representing Munster Technological University. STEM_Valorise is an Erasmus+ funded project.

The partners had previously met in person, for the first time, in Istanbul in June 2022. (The news article is available here.)

In this follow up meeting, we arranged to fine tune the training materials in advance of an exciting pilot of STEM Valorisation training for PhD students and early career researchers. The programme will explain how to identify, maximise, and prioritise valorisation opportunities for STEM research.

Suitable dates were discussed to conduct an international pilot training programme online, with applications opening on August 15th for a ten-week programme. Sessions will take place once weekly and will provide insight and know-how for STEM research valorisation.

We are already looking forward to our next meeting which is scheduled to take place online in August. The meeting will focus on finalising the programme and beginning recruitment as well as planning for local networking and multiplier events.
