What is Hincks Young Innovators' Showcase?

Hincks Young Innovators' Showcase at Munster Technological University (MTU) is presented by the Hincks Centre for Entrepreneurship Excellence. The Showcase provides a platform for young entrepreneurs form second level to be recognised for their innovative business ideas. Be 1 of 8 projects to showcase your project at a stand alongside MTU students on MTU's prestigious Innovation Day, gaining valuable exposure and recognition for your hard work.

How to Participate:

Submit your project details: One person from your group should register your team details in the below form before Friday March 14th 2025 @ 6pm. For the teams that enter, we will request your business plans from Foroige/NFTE.

Selection Process:

After review, a short list of 8 projects will be created and the successful entries will be notified of the next steps after the 14th of March 2025.

Event Details:

The 8 student groups will be invited to attend MTU as part of the Hincks Young Innovators' Showcase and Awards. These student groups will have the opportunity to showcase their project at a dedicated stand, similar to the examples provided above. The Showcase will be taking place on Thursday the 27th of March 2025 at 10am - 3pm where students will compete for 2 award categories that come with cash prizes.

Award Categories:

There are 2 categories for which teams will compete. The award categories are:

1. Best Economic Impact and
2. Greatest Social Impact
